Melbourne Diary / UNION LANE

24/01/15

Back to the photo of a beautiful city which doesn't require much editing because the colors are already vibrant on its own, Melbourne.
I only spent 2 days in this city after getting tanned skin and adrenaline rush at Gold Coast. My first impression was, "Is it really summer?" I was greeted by the famous almighty wind  of Melbourne, so freaking cold for summer season ( and for me who is living in tropical country my whole life). I got cold feet and sudden sneezing attack because of thin wardrobe haha.
I stayed at The Art Series Larwill Hotel located in Flemington rd, near Royal Children Hospital. The hotel has the perfect location, it is situated right in front of tram line so I could easily go anywhere. One good thing about Melbourne, you can ride free tram around the CBD (Central Business District) which is basically consists the place you must go once you step your feet in Melbourne.
I spent the first morning in Melbourne, having brunch at Queen Victoria Market which was amaaaazzzingg. The market sold a lot of things with reasonable prices, my eyes were set to an $5 espresso stovetop but because I couldn't figure out how to pack it, I decided to not buy it (and regret it now) One of the stall also sold a kigurumi, (animal hoodie pajamas, as you can see in many korean variety show) only for $25, super great deal!! I've been looking forever for this kind of hoodie pajamas (from online shop to Japan and China), so glad I've finally found it on the most unexpected place! I picked the Totoro one because It was the cutest out of the bunch while my sis got the unicorn one. Since I was busy looking around and shopping, I only took photos at the Union Lane. It was right next to Royal Arcade Shopping Centre.  If you are a fan of Running Man, you might recognize this place.

(PS: Featuring my sister who is always so good at posing )

If only I wore whte t-shirt today *_* it would be like music video. LOL.

Currently typing this at 00.12 Sydney time. It's only 8 pm at my hometown :( Thanks God my sleeping pattern is not ruined ^^
Being far away from home is really hard, I always thought I'm a strong girl and with anti social and individualistic character I have, It wouldnt be such a fuss for me to live alone in another country. It was really easy at first..but at night when I realized I was alone,  I just...couldn't handle it. My mum says it's normal to be homesick and I need to seek for activities to get my mind off it..but yea, adapting to a strange environment is really sucks. I've lived my life for 22 years without a hassle, life is always easy back home..my comfort zone. Mum and dad always took care of everything. When time was hard, I had a lot of friends to cheer me up.
I dont know what God has prepared for me, they say God didnt give you test you couldn't overcome. this is my choice, as a 22 years old crybaby, no matter what difficulties lay ahead of me I have to take care of it myself. I want to make my parents proud of me.
That's it.
I'm sorry for blabbering some words you probably don't understand, It did make me feel better to share about it. It took out a lot of burden and tears both in my heart and my tear gland.

School's starting tomorrow, wish me all the best luck!

For you who are having a hard time (or even harder than me), please be patient, these things will pass, I promise. Goodnite :)
